Brookstone Builders Completes US Navy Renovation Project

project completed

All of us here at Brookstone Builders are happy to announce that we have recently completed a renovation project for the U.S. Navy.

The project involved interior renovations and the creation of additional office space within an existing building (H23) at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

The scope of work included interior demolition, abatement, new flooring and walls, replacement of stair treads and doors, installation of new cabinetry, and finish work.

The project’s joint prime contractors were Armitage Corporation of Buffalo, NY and Structural Associates Inc. out of East Syracuse, NY.  Stephen Nichols was Brookstone Builders’ Project Manager and architectural work was handled by the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC).

“We are appreciative of the long-standing business relationship we’ve had with the Navy,” said Brookstone Builder’s President Karen Scales. “It has been a great partnership involving numerous projects over several years, which have all been completed more effectively thanks to the Navy’s straightforward protocols for communication.”
